Classically Qashghai, this SW Persian nomadic scatter shows a stepped ivory central diamond enclosing the “Qashghai gul”, on a navy ground with surrounding lozengoid arrays of rosettes and humanoid profile flowers, with multicoloured side filler triangles and red corners with further stylized “Qashghai guls”. Several borders including a narrow red main stripe with reversing palmettes on a meander. Extra chevron-pattern end stripes, partially reduced toward the centres, otherwise good condition. Well-woven, all wool construction..
