The field attractively abrashes from sky blue to cerulean to royal blue and displays three large and one slightly smaller stepped, nested octagonal medallions. The larger ones show paired lateral “wings” and the smaller is open with a red hooked diamond centre. Small boxes and smaller squared-off crosses fill in around. Ivory T undulating meander border in the Fachralo style. Bold red/dark blue triangle zig-zag inner band. Red Z-pattern border at one end only. Natural dye palette with imaginative use of indigo. All wool construction. From the SW Caucasus. Good condition..
