Finely woven, this central Persian urban scatter with an abrashed madder rust field supporting a tall, lightly scalloped navy elliptical medallion with internally voluted pendants. Ivory and navy, or navy and ivory extended corners. Navy border of small cypresses and broad flowering plants accented in teal. Formal, but not rigid or repetitious. Excellent pile wool from Manchester, U.K., velvety surface. Fairly good condition..
