This velvety pile, genuine “Mohtasham” scatter from the renowned Kashan weaving town in Central Persia, show the characteristic old ivory field with stems and flowers flowing around a light blue lightly scalloped medallion with small lateral and larger lengthwise pendants. Rusty-rose extended corners with ivory arabesque ornamentation. Old ivory main border with rosettes linked by angular, thin, leafy vines. Fine weave, fairly good condition with visible end reduction.
