Hand Made Tabriz Persian Rug, 1970's.

A well-woven Azerbaijani NW Persian city rug with a deep, rich tonality and an upstanding, brisk pile.
A small eight petal rosette centres the deep indigo navy ground with its dÈcor of spiraling arabesques adorned with compound sickle leaves and anchored by little palmettes. Rose border of tilted and upright palmettes, with leaves and vinery breaking into the minor borders.
As new condition.
