The attractive almost light blue field displays a pendanted red medallion and ivory sub-medallion with eight radiating arabesque palmettes., repeated on a larger overall scale in the extended corners. The arabesque bracketed palmettes of the red main border pierce the secondary stripes, indicating a date just before, or more likely after WWII. Classic central Persian Kashan drawing.
