This northeast Caucasian kenare (runner) feartures 10, slightly flattened eight point geometric “Lesghi stars” in cream, navy and straw. with red and green details, well-filling the deep blue ground, and with small carnations adding pattern density. Characteristic Lesghi main border with flattened octagons on an ivory ground. Reversing carnation minors are Shirvan/Kuba./Lesghi mainstays. Leathery texture, with a short-clipped pile. Good condition, all wool construction, symmetric knots..
