Woven in the short-warp technique, this uncommon format, central Persian town scatter shows an all old-ivory tonality, with an allover field design of sickle leaves, forked leaves, arabesque and small palmettes in a quasi-symmetric manner, and a border of a peaked, undulating tendril and assorted palmettes. Fine weave, as always on Nains, short velvety pile ditto, and our fine condition.
