Product Details
No medallion, but offset rows of little botehs in shawl-like design on a sandy ivory field. Teal and cranberry accents. Ivory main border of petal fan palmettes reversing with five floret standing flowers. The botehs are lightly connected by a wiry diagonal line running from one to the appropriate one in the next row. “Laver” refers to the town of Ravar, near Kerman, reputed to weave the best Kerman-style pieces. Unless so specified in an inwoven inscription, we consider all antique Kermans to be just that. Good condition..
