This west Persian village rug is a study in blues, from the abrashed dark blue of the botehs, leaves and small octagon rosettes of the subfield to the pellucid light blue surrounding it, not to forget the blue ground and accents in the border. Pale straw instead of the usual ivory in the medallion and corners. Extra end strips with pile ju-jus. Good condition, cotton foundation, symmetric knots.
